Sub-Zero & Wolf were very proud to showcase live their Wolf Outdoor grill on Gaze Burvill’s award winning stand at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year - which for the first time in the Royal Horticultural show’s 108-year history, took place during September, rather than the usual month of May.
The joint stand was the proud recipient of not just one - but two awards! The RHS Chelsea Flower Show Director General Award, plus RHS Chelsea Flower Show Best Trade stand.
And as if that wasn’t enough, among the guests and visitors, legendary chef, Raymond Blanc OBE, joined us on the stand for a chat and a taster of the delicacies cooked by our own Chef Elliott using Wolf’s powerful yet highly controllable 91mm wide outdoor grill, ICBGOG36.
Chef Elliott cooked up some flame-grilled chorizo sausage and steak, cut into bite size pieces and served with a fresh salsa verde dip - echoing the multitude of vibrant plants and fresh green spaces surrounding the stand at RHS’s Chelsea Flower Show.
Guests and visitors to the stand were also treated to seared, sliced mushrooms and tasty teriyaki-glazed salmon bites, demonstrating the nuanced temperature control of Wolf’s Outdoor gas grills – the key to successful grilling whether indoor or ‘en plein air’, as Monsieur Blanc might say.
