April 2026: A household name in luxury kitchen appliances, Sub-Zero & Wolf has partnered with British chef and restaurateur Thomas Straker for the launch of his new private dining and events space in London. Equipping the kitchen with a full professional appliance suite designed to support high-performance, open-format service, Sub-Zero & Wolf is delighted to be central to Straker's dining experience in the capital.

The chef's-table environment forms part of Straker's expanding hospitality footprint. Following the success of his restaurant Straker's in Notting Hill, he has introduced a dedicated events and chef incubator space designed to host collaborative dining programmes and intimate culinary experiences. In this format, guests sit just metres away from the action, immersed in the pace and technical precision of live service, from food preparation all the way through to plating.

In an environment where cooking is fully visible and performance becomes central, Sub-Zero & Wolf appliances have been specified to ensure temperature accuracy, ingredient preservation and responsive heat control within a compact, design-led setting.

At the core of the space sits the Wolf Dual Fuel Range Cooker, featuring dual-stacked burners and integrated flat-top to allow multiple elements of a dish to be executed simultaneously. Independent oven cavities provide consistent temperature management throughout service, while Sub-Zero refrigeration safeguards ingredients through advanced preservation technology, maintaining optimal humidity and air purity.

In this private dining setting, there's nowhere to hide. Guests are close enough to see everything, so control and consistency are essential. The Wolf Dual Fuel Range Cooker gives me that precision, and the Sub-Zero refrigeration keeps ingredients exactly at the right temperature for all my cooking needs.
