Chef Matthew Ryle unveils performance-led family kitchen designed around Sub-Zero & Wolf appliances

December 2025: Matthew Ryle, content creator and chef partner at critically acclaimed London brasseries Maison François and Café François, has unveiled his new kitchen at his home in Oxfordshire. Designed by local kitchen specialists Interiors12, the Scandinavian-inspired space has been built around a full suite of Sub-Zero & Wolf appliances and will function as an everyday family hub and Ryle’s primary filming studio.

Following a decade spent in the kitchens of renowned London restaurants and the successful launch of two French eateries, Ryle continues to influence food lovers worldwide through social media. Across Instagram and YouTube, he shares engaging content and meticulously crafted recipes with an audience of more than 2.5 million, offering tips and techniques refined over years of professional practice. His approach simplifies the art of French cookery, championing accessible ingredients to demystify and celebrate the classics.

Conceived to bring professional capability into a warm, domestic setting, the new kitchen will serve as both a high-performance culinary workspace and the home of Ryle’s content creation. The specification of Sub-Zero & Wolf refrigeration, cooking and ventilation appliances was central to achieving this vision. Interiors12 designed the entire layout around the performance, heat control and storage requirements of the appliances, ensuring the space functions seamlessly for precision cooking, hosting and content production.

Sub-Zero’s food preservation system played a key role in the design. Ryle selected the Sub-Zero French door refrigerator for its temperature consistency and NASA-inspired technology that prolongs the freshness of produce. Wolf’s combi-steam oven, induction cooktop and dual-stacked burners offer the accuracy and responsiveness he relies on professionally, allowing him to cook restaurant-standard dishes at home.

Interiors12 created the space around these performance needs, incorporating generous storage for cookware and filming equipment, carefully considered lighting and two pocket-door systems that conceal appliances when not in use. A dedicated drinks and coffee station sits alongside the Wolf cooking zone, allowing Ryle to move fluidly between hosting, filming and everyday family routines.

Durability was also essential, leading to the selection of Dekton Sabbia worktops by Cosentino for their resistance to heat and wear, paired with Quooker taps, including a five-in-one model that offers sparkling and filtered water
