Succulent Seared Flame-Grilled Burgers

Have you ever wondered why steaks and hamburgers served in restaurants taste so much more mouth-watering than you can ever seem to create at home?

What is it that chefs do to make them taste so amazing?

Do they have a secret ingredient in their recipe? Or is it in the cooking method?

How do they do it?!

Well, like most things, it’s easy when you know how…and the secret is about to be let out of the bag…

The clue is in the name: ‘flame-grilled’.

Yes, what that means is that during the cooking process, the flame actually comes into contact with the surface of the food.

Infra-red Chargrill

Take Wolf’s infra-red char-grill for example, a mighty 4.5kW gas burner is located underneath a heavy duty, porcelain coated, cast iron rack, offering the same professional grade cooking method that you would find in catering kitchens.

The flame from the powerful gas burner sears the outside of your food, creating that much sought-after char-grilled flavour. For rare steaks and delicate fish with the same great flavour that you enjoy during your meals out; just keep the cooking time short. For chicken, burgers and sausages cook for a little longer to ensure the centre is cooked through.

By simply turning on the char-grill, pre-heating for 10 minutes, then placing your burgers, (or steaks, fish or vegetables for that matter) on the griddle surface, you can simply and quickly re-create your favourite, flame-grilled, fantasy food!

Perfect for Toasting your Burger Buns too

With the addition of a temperature-controlled Wolf teppanyaki/griddle you can keep burgers warm while you finish off the trimmings or use it to create any number of dishes from full English breakfast or blueberry pancakes, to egg-fried rice

An infra-red char-grill and teppanyaki/griddle are the ideal appliances for and entertaining friends and family for casual get togethers - as well as creating fine dining dishes, when the occasion calls, too.
